Job summary

DN Colleges Group is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Installation Lecturer to join our Engineering team in Doncaster. You will plan, deliver, and assess learning across further education, T-Level, and apprenticeship programmes.

The role requires a Level 3+ professional qualification, Level 2 literacy/numeracy, a Level 5 teaching qualification or willingness to work towards, plus substantial electrical installation experience.

Qualifications

  • Professional qualification at Level 3 or above in a relevant area.
  • Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy required.
  • Level 5 teaching qualification or willingness to work towards within an agreed timescale.
  • Substantial industrial experience in electrical installation or related field.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills to motivate learners.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for Electrical Installation programmes.
  • Develop curriculum materials and contribute to course leadership and quality assurance.
  • Support learners through guidance, mentoring, and progress tracking.
  • Assist with student recruitment and meet enrolment targets.
  • Participate in departmental development, staff appraisal, and CPD.

Essential Criteria
  • Relevant professional technical qualification at Level 3 or above
  • Minimum Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Level 5 teaching qualification or willingness to work towards within an agreed timescale
  • Substantial industrial experience in electrical installation or related field
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners with strong communication and organisational skills
Key Responsibilities
