Job summary

Dovetail & Slate seeks a dynamic Electrical Installation Lecturer to deliver theory and practical sessions in Hampshire across Levels 1-3, including inspection and testing and system design. The role also leads programmes and guides learners toward full occupational competence and End Point Assessment.

You will plan assessments, manage delivery schedules, and provide pastoral support, while liaising with employers for placements and contributing to curriculum quality assurance and annual events.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation and GCSE Maths/English at grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Desirable: ECS Gold Card / AM2, 18th Edition, Level 5 Teaching qualification, Assessor/IQA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching across practical skills and theory in Electrical Installation.
• Plan, prepare, assess student learning through marking, feedback, and progress reviews.
• Act as Course Leader, managing delivery schedules, quality standards, and pastoral care.
• Maintain records for registers, attendance, and awarding body compliance.
• Liaise with employers, parents, and industry bodies to organise work placements.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and open events.
