Job summary
Dovetail and Slate is seeking an Electrical Installation Lecturer to join its Buckinghamshire-based Construction Department. You will deliver practical workshops and theoretical teaching across electrical installation programmes, helping students develop strong technical skills and progression into industry careers or further study.

Qualifications
- Trade experience in electrical installation, up-to-date knowledge.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/DET) or willingness to complete training on the job.
- Proficiency with basic IT tools and willingness to learn educational software.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality practical workshops and theoretical lectures for Electrical Installation learners.
- Plan and structure learning programmes tailored to individual student needs.
- Integrate digital tools and modern teaching techniques to boost engagement.
- Maintain workshop health & safety standards, risk assessments and safe working practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum development to keep content aligned with industry standards.
