Job summary

Dovetail and Slate is seeking an Electrician or Electrical Lecturer to join our FE team in Newcastle. You will deliver engaging electrical courses, plan sessions, and assess learners progress in a supportive environment.

With a Level 3 Electrical qualification, extensive industry experience, and a willingness to pursue a teaching qualification, you will help learners gain skills and employability, while building partnerships with employers.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical.
• Extensive industry experience in the Electrical industry.
• A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Electrical courses.
• Plan, prepare and assess learning activities to support student progression and achievement.
• Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring content aligns with current industry standards.
• Support students in developing their technical skills and employability prospects.
• Work collaboratively with a dynamic team to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
• Develop employer partnerships to enhance student learning opportunities and industry engagement.
