Job summary

Dn Colleges Group is seeking two Electrical Installation Lecturers to join our Engineering team in Scunthorpe. You will deliver high-quality teaching across Electrical Installation programmes and provide academic and pastoral support to a caseload of students.

The role emphasizes engaging learning, industry insight, safeguarding, and using a variety of teaching methods to prepare learners for industry success. A recognised teaching qualification is available if needed.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or related field.
• Minimum Level 2 English and Maths.
• Excellent subject knowledge of Electrical Installation programmes and industry practices.
• Ability to deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across Electrical Installation programmes.
• Act as a Programme Tutor, providing academic and pastoral support to a designated caseload of students.
• Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement, maintaining accurate records and assessment information.
• Develop innovative and engaging learning experiences using a range of teaching methodologies and learning technologies.
• Embed English and Maths within vocational learning to support student success.
• Build and maintain strong links with industry partners to enhance curriculum delivery and progression opportunities.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement activities and student recruitment events including Open Days and information sessions.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment that supports student achievement and wellbeing.

We are currently looking for Two Electrical Installation Lecturers!

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
• Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of Electrical Installation programmes and industry practices.
• Ability to deliver engaging learning experiences and motivate students to achieve their potential.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, with strong communication and team-working skills.
