Job summary

CJS Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer to join a further education setting on a long-term contract. You will deliver electrical installations theory and practical training and support learners to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities include monitoring learner progress, maintaining records, ensuring health and safety compliance, and helping learners progress into employment or apprenticeships.

Qualifications

• Proven teaching experience in Electrical Installation or related FE setting.
• Electrical Installation qualifications required.
• Clear Enhanced DBS covering Child and Adult Workforce (Update Service).
• Willing to undergo DBS checks prior to starting.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training.
• Up-to-date Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) training.
• Up-to-date Prevent / Preventing Radicalisation training.
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine passion for teaching and supporting learners to succeed.
• Good understanding of health and safety in electrical/practical environments.

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer to join a further education setting on a long-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teaching professional with a strong background in electrical installations who is passionate about supporting learners to achieve their full potential.

The Role

As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations theory and practical training and support the development of next generation of electrical professionals.

• Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
• Promote a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Support learners in developing their technical and practical abilities.
• Ensure all teaching and practical activities are delivered in line with relevant health and safety requirements.
• Work with colleagues to support learner achievement and in line with relevant requirements
• Support learners with progression into employment, aprenticeships and futher study.

About you:

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven teaching experience, ideally within Electrical Installation or a related Further Education setting.
• Relevant Electrical Installation qualifications.
• A clear Enhanced DBS covering both the Child and Adult Workforce.registered on the Update Service.
• Candidates who do not currently hold a valid DBS certificate must be willing to undergo the required DBS check prior to starting the role
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training.
• Up-to-date Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) training.
• Up-to-date Prevent / Preventing Radicalisation training.
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting learners to succeed.

A relevant teaching qualification would be advantageous, alongside your electrical qualifications and experience.
