Job summary

Dovetail and Slate is seeking an Electrical Lecturer to join our team in Birmingham. The role focuses on delivering high-quality electrical teaching across courses, planning and assessing learning activities, and aligning content with current industry standards.

You will support students’ progression and employability while collaborating with colleagues to foster an engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate has extensive electrical industry experience and holds an A Level 3

Qualifications

  • A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Electrical required.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one required.
  • Extensive industry experience in Electrical field required.

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Electrical courses.
  • Plan, prepare and assess learning activities to support student progression and achievement.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring content aligns with current industry standards.
  • Support students in developing their technical skills and employability prospects.

Job Title – Electrical Lecturer

Salary – £42,000 - £45,000

Location – Birmingham

Contract Type – Permanent

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Electrician or current Electrical Lecturer to join a dynamic team of educators and inspire the next generation of Electricians.

Role Responsibilities
