Job summary

onlyFE is seeking an Electrical Installation Lecturer to share expertise with learners from beginners to advanced. The role offers teaching across full-time, part-time, and evening programmes, aligned to EAL levels 1–3 as per the development plan.

You will deliver formal teaching, tutorials, assessments, and curriculum development, while supporting admissions, inductions and learner progress. A strong industry knowledge base and a passion for teaching are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience or ability to teach Electrical Installation to EAL levels 1–3.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety in electrical work.
  • Ability to mentor students with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver formal scheduled teaching.
  • Conduct tutorials, progress reviews and student assessments.
  • Manage learning programmes and curriculum development.
  • Oversee student admissions and induction.
  • Provide educational guidance and feedback.
  • Prepare learning materials and assignments.
  • Mark student work and examinations.
  • Coordinate student visit programmes and related activities.
  • Engage in research and scholarly activity related to curriculum delivery.
  • Participate in marketing activities and consultancy.
  • Lead part-time staff and administrative tasks.
  • Support professional development and develop workshop materials.
  • Liaise with vocational tutors.

Are you passionate about Electrical Installation and excited about sharing your knowledge? Whether you're an experienced educator or someone eager to transition into teaching, we're looking for individuals with a deep understanding of Electrical Installation studies. As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you'll have the chance to apply your expertise and contribute to the growth of our students, from beginners to advanced learners. The ranges of qualifications could include full-time, part time, and evening programmes. Primarily the EAL qualifications from level 1 through to level 3 this would fall in line with our sections development plan.
