Electrical & Hydraulic Fitter

Role: Electrical & Hydraulic Fitter

Location: Worksop, S80 3AT

Hours: 40 hours per week | between 06:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday

Hourly Rate: Up to £17.24ph DOE

Are you a hands‑on engineer with a passion for electrical and hydraulic systems? We're looking for a proactive and detail‑focused Electrical & Hydraulic Fitter to join our Manufacturing team in Worksop!

This is a practical role where you'll be responsible for assembling and fitting electrical and hydraulic systems to high standards, ensuring all work meets build specifications and quality expectations in line with BS EN ISO 9001.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings
  • Carry out electrical and hydraulic fitting and electro‑mechanical assembly
  • Take ownership of your own quality and workmanship
  • Promote good housekeeping and follow all health and safety procedures
  • Support team members and assist with planning and continuous improvement
  • Be flexible and willing to move between departments as needed
  • Maintain punctuality, discipline, and a positive, "can‑do" attitude
Ideal Candidate
  • Training in fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Skilled in problem‑solving and working to takt times
  • Able to read and understand engineering build specifications
  • Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and flexible
  • Willing to learn new skills and support continuous improvement
  • Auto‑electrical qualifications and CANbus knowledge are desirable
  • Available for overtime during the week and occasional Fridays/weekends
