Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Foreman / Supervisor to join a Solar PV installation team in Chester. The role combines hands-on site work with office-based technical support, overseeing electricians and engineers on-site.

You will carry out electrical installations across Solar PV, Battery Storage and Renewable Energy projects, inspect and certify work, conduct quality audits, and assist with system design and project planning. Full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to supervise electricians on site and sign off works.
• Experience with Solar PV, Battery Storage and Renewable Energy systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation standards and testing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support electricians and engineers on-site.

About Us

Alecto Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Foreman / Supervisor to join one of our clients who specialise extensively within the Renewable Energy sector.

Our client deliver high quality installations across Solar PV, Battery Storage, Air Source Heat Pump and Air-conditioning systems, dealing with both residential/domestic and commercial customers.

The Role

This is a varied position combining hands-on site work with office-based technical support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support electricians and engineers on-site.
• Carry out electrical installation work across Solar PV, Battery Storage and Renewable Energy projects.
• Inspect, test and certify electrical work to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct quality audits and maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Provide technical guidance and support to both field and office teams.
• Complete site surveys and assist with system design and project planning.
• Source materials and equipment for projects.

What We Are Looking For

• Fully qualified electrician - 18 th Edition, NVQ Level 3, AM2 etc.
• Relevant inspection and testing qualifications and the ability to sign off electrical work.
• Knowledge of Solar PV, Battery Storage and Renewable Energy systems.
• Experience supervising electrical installations and teams.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Commutable to Chester / South Cheshire or Shropshire.
