Rise Technical Recruitment in Manchester is seeking an Electrical Qualified Supervisor / Electrical QS (Solar) to own electrical compliance, sign-off and certification for a UK-wide portfolio of solar PV works. The role offers autonomy within a growing specialist solar maintenance business, with training, progression and strong technical support.

The ideal candidate is a fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3) with 18th Edition and 2391, ECS Gold Card, and solid Solar PV experience.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3) with 18th Edition and 2391 Inspection & Testing.
• Strong Solar PV experience and ECS Gold Card.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of electrical compliance, certification and technical standards across solar PV works.
• Inspection, testing and sign-off including certification and reporting.
• Support and supervise engineers/subcontractors with technical guidance and fault finding.
• Carry out site audits and quality checks to ensure standards (NAPIT/MCS where applicable).
• UK-wide travel as required (autonomous working pattern).

Are you a fully qualified Electrician with strong Solar PV experience, looking to step into a senior technical role where you'll take ownership of compliance and standards and become the go-to person for sign-off and certification?

On offer is a permanent opportunity to join a growing specialist solar maintenance business that has won major new contracts and is now strengthening its technical function, with the backing to develop the right person into a long-term Qualified Supervisor position.

In this role you'll oversee electrical compliance across a UK-wide portfolio of solar PV works, carrying out inspection, testing and certification, supporting field engineers and subcontractors, and ensuring standards are met through audits, quality checks and technical support. The role is autonomous (40 hours contracted) with travel required.

This role would suit a qualified Electrician with hands-on Solar PV experience and inspection & testing, who wants to move into a senior, standards-led position with training, progression and real ownership.

The Role
