Job summary

Accelerated People Management Ltd. is hiring an Electrical Site Supervisor in Maidstone to lead commercial and industrial Solar PV installations. The role is hands-on and requires taking ownership on site while guiding engineers and performing electrical works.

You will install Solar PV systems, provide technical guidance, and resolve issues on rooftop and ground-mounted projects. Drive safety, quality, and timely completion on each site with travel across Kent and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing commercial & industrial Solar PV systems.
• NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and relevant electrical qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to cover Kent & M25.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front by carrying out commercial Solar PV installations across rooftop and ground-mounted projects.
• Act as the lead technical person on site, providing guidance and support to engineers and resolving installation or electrical issues.
• Install containment, connect string inverters and complete associated electrical works while overseeing the wider installation.
• Carry out testing, inspection, fault finding and commissioning to high standards and safety.

Are you an experienced Solar Electrician looking to take the next step into an Electrical Site Supervisor position whilst remaining hands‑on? This is a fantastic opportunity to become the lead technical person on site, overseeing commercial and industrial Solar PV installations whilst continuing to carry out the electrical installation work yourself. As an Electrical Site Supervisor, you’ll be the go‑to technical person on site. You’ll be installing Solar PV systems alongside the team, whilst providing technical guidance, answering questions and helping engineers overcome any issues that arise during installation. You won’t be sitting back managing from a distance, this is a hands‑on role for someone who has the knowledge and confidence to lead from the front, take ownership of the installation and be the person the team turns to when they need support. With continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Solar Electrician looking to take on more responsibility without moving away from the technical and hands‑on side of the job.

As an Electrical Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading from the front by carrying out commercial Solar PV installations across rooftop and ground‑mounted projects

The successful Electrical Site Supervisor should have:

• NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and relevant electrical qualifications
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to cover Kent and the M25
