Job summary

Net Zero Evolution is seeking a Solar PV Maintenance Electrician to service commercial solar PV systems across Reading and surrounding areas, performing maintenance, fault finding and testing. You’ll work independently, supported by a skilled technical team.

Qualifications

• Able to produce accurate maintenance reports.

Job Title: Solar PV Maintenance Electrician

You'll take ownership of planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, inspection, testing and repairs across a diverse portfolio of commercial solar PV installations. Working independently at customer sites throughout the South of England, you'll ensure renewable energy systems remain safe, compliant and performing at their best. About you

You'll be a qualified electrician holding a recognised Level 3 electrical qualification and current 18th Edition certification, with practical experience installing, commissioning or maintaining commercial solar PV systems. You'll be confident carrying out electrical fault finding, inspection and testing across AC and DC systems, interpreting technical drawings and producing accurate maintenance reports.

You’ll enjoy working independently, have a professional approach when dealing with customers and be willing to travel throughout the South of England. Additional qualifications such as Inspection and Testing, ECS Gold Card, Solar PV certification or experience with battery storage, EV charging infrastructure, inverter diagnostics or monitoring platforms would be advantageous but are not essential.
