Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley offers a 12-month placement for undergraduates to gain hands-on experience in design and construction, with exposure to live projects within the Severn Trent Water framework.

You will work with mechanical engineers on-site and in the office, focusing on mechanical systems, design, planning, installation, and maintenance while learning safety practices and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• You must be studying a full-time undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced mechanical engineers both on-site and in the office, gaining practical experience in mechanical systems and project implementation.
• Engage in water and waste water projects, from design and planning to installation and maintenance, ensuring systems operate efficiently and effectively.
• Enhance your skills in mechanical design, system analysis, and problem-solving, preparing you for a successful career in mechanical engineering.
