Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley offers a 12-month placement across design and construction teams, gaining exposure on real-world projects within the Thames Water framework. Travel around the region is required, with mentoring from experienced professionals and a path to a possible permanent role after graduation.

The role starts Summer 2027. You will work on live projects, supporting designers, site engineers and managers across surveying, design documentation and QA processes.

Qualifications

• You must be studying a full-time undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid driving license and use of a car is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, construction, commissioning, handover and completion of projects.
• Assist the Project Leader (Designer) with preparation of design, technical drawings and other documentation.
• Assist the Site Engineer with setting out line & level of structures and pipework using surveying equipment.
