Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is offering a 12-month placement that combines design and construction exposure across water, energy and environment projects within the United Utilities framework in the North West. You will work on real-world projects that make a difference while gaining degree-relevant experience.

You’ll collaborate with mechanical engineers on-site and in the office, develop skills in mechanical systems, design and problem solving, and learn health and safety best practices.

Qualifications

• Must be studying a full-time undergraduate degree in mechanical or civil engineering, or related field.
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on-site and in the office to gain practical experience in mechanical systems and project implementation.
• Engage in water and wastewater projects from design and planning to installation and maintenance.
• Develop skills in mechanical design, system analysis, and problem-solving for a career in mechanical engineering.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment on all projects.
