Pioneer Selection Ltd. are seeking a PPM Electrical Engineer for a heavy industrial, high-volume manufacturing site in Gainsborough.

The role focuses on completing planned preventative maintenance and improving the reliability of electrical equipment across the plant. You will join the days engineering team, carry out plant-wide PPM activities, diagnose electrical faults, support shift engineers with breakdowns, and contribute to continuous improvement to reduce downtime and boost plant

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or completed electrical apprenticeship.
• Electrically biased maintenance background in a factory/manufacturing setting.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned preventative maintenance across plant equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and maintain electrical systems.
• Support shift engineers with equipment breakdowns when required.
• Maintain automated manufacturing and process equipment.
• Identify improvements to increase reliability and reduce downtime.
• Record completed maintenance work accurately through a CMMS.
• Work safely in line with electrical regulations and site procedures.

Job Title: PPM Electrical Engineer

Location: Gainsborough

Salary: Up to £44,(Apply online only)

Shift: Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 4:00pm

Job Role of the PPM Electrical Engineer

An exciting opportunity has opened for a PPM Electrical Engineer to join a heavy industrial, high-volume manufacturing site. This is a days-based position focused on completing planned preventative maintenance and improving the reliability of electrical equipment across the plant.

You will work as part of the days engineering team, completing plant-wide PPM activities, diagnosing electrical faults and supporting the shift engineers with equipment breakdowns when required. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to reduce downtime and improve plant performance.

Sector - Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the PPM Electrical Engineer

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or completed electrical apprenticeship.
• Electrically biased maintenance background.
• Experience within a factory or manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.

Requirements for the PPM Electrical Engineer

• Completing planned preventative maintenance across plant equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and maintaining electrical systems.
• Supporting shift engineers with equipment breakdowns when required.
• Maintaining automated manufacturing and process equipment.
• Identifying improvements to increase reliability and reduce downtime.
• Recording completed maintenance work accurately through a CMMS.
• Working safely in line with electrical regulations and site procedures.

Desirable Requirements for the PPM Electrical Engineer

• PLC fault-finding or diagnostics experience.
• Instrumentation experience.
• SAP or other CMMS experience.
• Heavy industrial or FMCG manufacturing experience.
• MEWP or confined-space training.
