Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a PPM Electrical Engineer for a heavy industrial, high-volume manufacturing site in Gainsborough. The role focuses on planned maintenance and improving reliability of electrical equipment across the plant.

You will work with the days engineering team, diagnose faults, support shift engineers with breakdowns, and contribute to continuous improvement to reduce downtime and boost plant performance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or completed electrical apprenticeship.
• Electrically biased maintenance background.
• Experience within a factory/manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Completing planned preventative maintenance across plant equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and maintaining electrical systems.
• Supporting shift engineers with equipment breakdowns when required.
• Maintaining automated manufacturing and process equipment.
• Identifying improvements to increase reliability and reduce downtime.
• Recording completed maintenance work accurately through a CMMS.
• Working safely in line with electrical regulations and site procedures.

PPM Electrical Engineer

Location: Gainsborough

Salary:Up to £44

Shift: Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 4:00pm

Job Role of the PPM Electrical Engineer

An exciting opportunity has opened for a PPM Electrical Engineer to join a heavy industrial, high-volume manufacturing site. This is a days-based position focused on completing planned preventative maintenance and improving the reliability of electrical equipment across the plant.

You will work as part of the days engineering team, completing plant-wide PPM activities, diagnosing electrical faults and supporting the shift engineers with equipment breakdowns when required. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to reduce downtime and improve plant performance.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the PPM Electrical Engineer

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or completed electrical apprenticeship.
• Electrically biased maintenance background.
