Job summary

Quantec is seeking qualified and motivated Electrical Test Engineers to join our growing team. We are one of the UKs leading compliance specialists delivering professional electrical testing services across commercial premises.

Based in Kent, London, Surrey, or Essex, you would operate across the South East, ensuring client sites remain safe and compliant. We offer a competitive salary (£43,000–£55,000 depending on experience), paid overtime, a company vehicle with fuel card, high‑quality tools

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and relevant trade certificates.
• 18th Edition (City & Guilds 2382) and 2391 (Inspection & Testing) are required.
• AM2 qualification and JIB Gold Card are desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence and DBS check are required.
• Willingness to travel across the South East and occasional evenings/weekends.

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition (City & Guilds 2382)
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
• AM2 Qualification
• Full UK Driving Licence
• JIB Gold Card
• Basic IT proficiency
• Willingness to travel across the South East
• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends
• Able to pass a DBS check

Desirable (but not essential):

• IPAF and PASMA certifications
