Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment seeks a Senior Electrical Qualifying Supervisor / Compliance Manager to lead the electrical compliance function across multiple contracts in London & Southeast. You will oversee testing, inspection, and NICEIC audit readiness while supporting clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

The role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, with a mobile, site-facing remit and potential for growth within a developing electrical division.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship and time-served electrician.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
• Experience operating as a Qualifying Supervisor or Senior Electrical Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of testing, inspection and certification.
• Experience preparing for or managing NICEIC audits.
• Excellent understanding of electrical compliance and safety regulations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to travel across multiple client sites.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings when required.
• Lead and support the Electrical Department.
• Undertake site inspections and quality audits.
• Assist Health & Safety teams with compliance initiatives.
• Support mobilisation of new contracts.
• Contribute to department growth and continuous improvement.
• PAT Testing oversight.
• Quality assurance inspections.
• Technical reporting.
• Mentoring junior engineers and supervisors.

Company Overview

We are a growing Building Technical Services provider delivering electrical and mechanical services across a portfolio of commercial contracts. Due to continued growth and upcoming contract awards, we are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS) to lead our electrical compliance function and support the continued development of the electrical division.

Role Overview

This is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing electrical compliance, testing and inspection activities across multiple contracts. The successful candidate will act as the company's Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, ensuring all works meet regulatory and NICEIC requirements while supporting clients, subcontractors and internal operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Technical

• Act as the company's Electrical Qualifying Supervisor.

Essential Requirements

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship (time-served electrician).

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
