Job summary

phs Compliance in the Liverpool area is hiring an Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer to perform electrical testing, EICRs, and related inspections. The role involves emergency lighting, fire alarm testing, mains analysis, and thermal imaging with duties including reporting and timely documentation.

The ideal candidate will hold NVQ3/City & Guilds, 18th Edition, AM2, and IPAF licenses, plus experience in electrical tests and project work.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2.
• Must hold City & Guilds 18th Edition and 2391/2394/2395 where applicable.
• AM2 qualification required and experience in electrical testing environments.
• Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety regulations, IT literacy, and IPAF 3a/3b.
• Full UK driving licence (6 points max).

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs).
• Complete Emergency Lighting Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Mains Analysis and Thermal Imaging.
• Undertake minor remedial repairs as required.
• Complete reports and certification using cloud-based software.
• Ensure all documentation is submitted accurately and on time.

• Carrying out inspection and testing of electrical installations (EICRs)
