Job summary

Quantec is seeking qualified Electrical Test Engineers to join our growing team across the UK. Based in Kent, London, Surrey or Essex, you will perform electrical testing and inspections to ensure safety and compliance, travel to client sites, and produce accurate certification reports.

We require NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2391, AM2, a UK driving licence, JIB Gold Card, and DBS clearance. IPAF/PASMA are desirable.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is essential.
• 18th Edition (City & Guilds 2382) required for compliance.
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) essential.
• AM2 Qualification is a must-have.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• JIB Gold Card is highly desirable.
• Basic IT proficiency to record tests and reports.
• Willingness to travel across the South East.
• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends.
• Able to pass a DBS check.
• Desirable: IPAF and PASMA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Travel to client sites across Kent, London, Surrey and Essex.
• Prepare certificates and reporting for each site visit.
• Maintain and check testing equipment and calibration.
