Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for an FMCG site near Boston. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment, with focus on improving reliability, safety and performance.

You will work a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern with days and nights, and have opportunities for overtime and progression. The ideal candidate has electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing, with NVQ Level 3 preferred.

Electrical Engineer (Maintenance)

On offer is the opportunity to join a long-established food manufacturing business based near Boston, Lincolnshire. The company has invested heavily into its operations and infrastructure and is now looking for engineers to help support continued growth, modernisation, and improvement across the site.

In this varied role, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across automated production equipment, You will diagnose breakdowns, minimise downtime, complete maintenance records, and work closely with production teams to improve reliability, safety, and equipment performance.

This role would suit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical and mechanical maintenance experience who is looking for a 4 on 4 off shift role, ongoing training, overtime, and the chance to develop within a growing FMCG manufacturing environment.

The Role:

• Planned and reactive maintenance across FMCG production machinery and site equipment
• Fault finding, breakdown repairs, PPM
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days and nights, 7:00am – 7:00pm / 7:00pm – 7:00am

The Person:

• Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Shift Maintenance Engineer, or similar
• Experience with FMCG, manufacturing, production machinery, or packaging equipment
• Ideally NVQ Level 3 Qualified
