Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy FMCG manufacturing site in the UK. You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance across high-speed production and packaging machinery, responding to breakdowns and carrying out PPM work.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights) with a competitive salary and benefits package including pension, life insurance, and gym access.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on maintenance including planned, reactive, and breakdown tasks.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical fault-finding.

Responsibilities

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment, you will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of high-speed production and packaging machinery. You will respond to breakdowns, carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives to maximise site efficiency and minimise downtime.

Requirements

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory environment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience working with PLCs, ideally with the ability to fault-find using inputs and outputs.
