Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical) to join a leading food manufacturer in Leominster. The role focuses on preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and smooth plant operation.

You will work on a two-week rotating shift pattern with early and late weekday shifts, with paid overtime and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• PPM and RM of food production machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with internal maintenance projects.
• Ensure health and safety standards are obtained.
• 2 week rotating shift pattern with early (05:30-13:30) and late (09:30-17:30) weekday shifts, with occasional weekends & paid overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production machinery to minimise downtime.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Assist with small-scale maintenance projects as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety standards across the site.
