Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a well-established Facilities Management company, covering a range of commercial sites across Enfield . This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety in their work, is confident travelling between sites, and takes pride in delivering high-quality electrical maintenance and repairs.

About the Role :

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient running of several buildings within the Enfield area. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) , completing reactive electrical repairs , undertaking fault finding , and responding to call-outs when required.

This position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, 08 : 00 - 17 : 00 , however the successful candidate must also be flexible for weekend call-outs or occasional out-of-hours requirements, depending on site needs. A company vehicle will be provided for travel between sites, so a professional and responsible approach to driving is essential.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Conduct PPM tasks, inspections, testing, and general electrical maintenance
  • Respond promptly to reactive works and diagnose electrical faults effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Work both independently and as part of a wider FM team
  • Communicate clearly with clients and site teams, maintaining a professional presence at all times
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company procedures
Essential Requirements :
  • Full, clean UK driving licence (required due to the mobile nature of the position)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer
  • Proven experience working within the Facilities Management sector
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification
  • 18th Edition (current wiring regulations)
  • Basic DBS (preferred, though support can be provided if you don't currently hold one)
