Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a competent Electrical Engineer to join its building services team in East London. You will design, implement and manage electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings, ensuring safety, efficiency and functionality while coordinating with architects and contractors in a hybrid work setting.

The role covers design development, drawings and schedules in CAD, on-site coordination, inspections, and commissioning to meet building codes and energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical building services design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other electrical design software.
• Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for buildings (power, lighting, fire alarm, security).
• Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, and schedules in CAD software.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for new projects.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors for integration.
• Oversee installations, inspections, and commissioning to meet design standards.
