Job summary

Trevett Project Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Teddington to cover all electrical maintenance within a large research facility. The role emphasizes fault-finding, panel work, power distribution, UPS, generators and emergency lighting testing, with a client-facing remit and a log of all tasks performed.

The position offers a standard Mon-Fri schedule with optional after-hours on-call and a 5k call-out allowance, plus annual leave and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have FM background and Level 3 electrical qualification.
• 18th edition qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Fault-finding across a large facility and log all works performed.
• Carry out electrical maintenance including small installations, control panels, power distribution, UPS, generators and emergency lighting.
• Attend to AHU & FCU maintenance as part of the site responsibilities.
• Work Monday to Friday with occasional extended hours and on-call rota.

Electrical Engineer

Days

£46,000 + £5,000 call out allowance

Based in Teddington

Trevett Services are working with one of the largest and fastest growing Facilities Management providers in the UK. My client is interested in speaking with technically sound electrical engineers to join their team in Teddington.

The Role:

As an electrical engineer, you will be solely responsible for covering all electrical maintenance, both PPM and reactive across a large research facility. Being client facing is a must for this position.

Typical duties include fault-finding, small installations, control panels, power distribution, UPS, generators, emergency lighting testing/maintenance, AHU & FCU maintenance and much more. You will be expected to log all works performed.

You will work Mon-Fri, either 07:00 – 16:00 or 08:00 – 17:00 (depending on what you prefer), but 1 in every 7 weeks you must work 10:00 – 19:00. There is a 1 in 4 call out rota, which you receive a £5,000 for as a call out allowance

Qualifications & Experience:

Our client requires someone from an FM background who is level 3 electrically qualified as well as holding the 18th edition.
