Trevett Services is recruiting an Electrical Engineer based in Bristol to join a university campus project. Working days only, you will handle electrical maintenance (PPM and reactive) and engage with clients on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities include fault-finding, small installations, control panels, power distribution and emergency lighting testing/maintenance, plus AHU & FCU upkeep. This role requires a level 3 electrical apprenticeship and at least 18 months of FM experience.

Trevett Services are working with the UK’s largest engineering and services business, which has been in operation for over 100 years. Our client is looking to recruit an electrical shift engineer to join their team working on a new university building.
As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for covering all electrical maintenance, both PPM and reactive in a university environment. Being client facing is a must as you will be dealing with clients on a day-to-day basis.
Typical duties include fault-finding, small installations, control panels, power distribution, lamping, ballast changes, emergency lighting testing/maintenance, AHU & FCU maintenance and much more.
Your will be working on a 4 on 3 off shift pattern, with the working hours as follows:
Earliest start will be 07:30, and the latest finish will be 20:00. When you work on a weekday, you will do a 10-hour shift. When you work on the weekend, you will do an 8-hour shift.
There is a 1 in 3 call out – you will only be on call out if you’re not working on a weekend that week. £120 for standby.
Our client is requires someone who has a level 3/apprenticeship equivalent in electrical engineering.
They also require someone to have at least 18 months experience within a similar role in Facilities Management.
