Job summary

Trevett Services are recruiting a Mobile Electrical Engineer to cover a southeastern Trains contract across SE London, Kent and Sussex. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, fault-finding and small installations on stations and depots.

Hours are Mon-Fri 08:00–16:30 with a 1 in 6 call out. Benefits include generous leave, private medical insurance, pension contributions and an Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• Our client requires a level 3 electrical qualification or apprenticeship equivalent.
• Must have 18th edition and at least 18 months in a similar FM role.
• Experience on commercial/industrial maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover electrical maintenance on a SE London/Kent/Sussex railway contract.
• Fault-find, install small works, service control panels and power distribution.
• Perform lamping, ballast changes and emergency lighting testing/maintenance.
• Support AHU & FCU maintenance where required.

Trevett Services are working with the UK’s largest engineering and services business, which has been in operation for over 100 years. Our client is looking to recruit a mobile electrical engineer to work on a mixed commercial contract across SE London, Kent and Sussex.

The Role:

As a mobile electrical engineer, you will be responsible for covering all electrical maintenance, both PPM and reactive on their southeastern Trains contract. You will be working predominantly in stations as well as some train depots.

Typical duties include fault-finding, small installations, control panels, power distribution, lamping, ballast changes, emergency lighting testing/maintenance, AHU & FCU maintenance and much more.

Your hours of work will be Mon-Fri 08:00 – 16:30, with a 1 in 6 call out (standby is £120).

Qualifications & Experience:

Our client is ideally seeking someone who has a level 3/apprenticeship equivalent in electrical engineering is required along with the 18th edition. They also require someone to have at least 18 months experience within a similar role in Facilities Management.
