Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions seeks an Electrical Engineer for a commercial site in London. Must be electrically qualified (City & Guilds L2/3, 18th edition) with a proven track record in building maintenance.

On-site role, Monday–Friday with early starts; immediate start and an ongoing contract. You will handle planned and reactive maintenance across lighting, emergency lighting, AHU/FCU, chillers, water treatment, plumbing, pumps, and BMS/UPS monitoring.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 and 18th edition.
• Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lighting: installation, fault-finding, lamping, ballast, control panels and power distribution.
• Emergency lighting maintenance and testing.
• Air Conditioning: AHU/FCU servicing and filter changes.
• Chillers: resets and basic troubleshooting.
• Water treatment: temperature checks.
• Plumbing: unblocking toilets.
• Pumps and motors maintenance.
• BMS monitoring (system monitoring) and UPS readings.

Electrical Engineer - Commercial Building - London - Immediate start - On-going - £29 Per hour

A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider located in London. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an Electrical Engineer to cover a commercial site. The successful candidate will be Electrically biased (NVQ, C&G) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on site, this person will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance.

Hours/Details

• Monday to Friday
• 06:30am to 15:30pm
• 07:30am to 16:30pm
• On-going contract
• £29 per hour via umbrella
• Immediate start

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Reset
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Water Treatment
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3, 18th edition
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
