Job summary

Radwell International is recruiting for an Engineering Support role in Newcastle Under-Lyme, United Kingdom. The position offers a starting salary of £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per annum, 25 days leave plus bank holidays, private health/medical insurance, life insurance, and access to a benefits portal.

The role includes troubleshooting electrical/electronic equipment, reading schematics, BOM planning, and supporting projects in a growing engineering team.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills.
• Good planning and organisational abilities in fast-paced production environments.
• Proficient in MS Office and strong communication skills.
• Experience with automation protocols (CANopen, Profibus, DeviceNet) preferred.
• Time and safety-conscious with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate electrical/electronic equipment.
• Inspect failed equipment and determine root cause with a path to resolution.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to support repairs.
• Prepare BOMs, action plans, and time estimates for tasks.
• Communicate project status, delays, and escalations to management.
• Contribute to SOPs, training materials, and process improvements.
• Support customer-site visits for breakdown diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Diagnose faults across PLCs, HMIs, inverters, and control systems.
