Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Manager to join the KME team delivering a major Healthcare project in the UK.

You will lead design activities across multiple schemes, ensuring safety, quality and value for money, while coordinating with project management and clients. The role requires substantial experience in MEP design management for main or Tier 1 contractors, a strong technical grasp of electrical services, and the ability to guide teams and BIM processes from

Qualifications

• Evidence as an MEP design manager for a main or Tier 1 MEP contractor.
• Experience delivering multiple medium schemes or large complex schemes.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical MEP services and interfaces.
• Proactive problem solver with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage design and working drawing activities within budgets and programmes.
• Lead internal and external design teams with clear scopes.
• Oversee technical quality, compliance and QA processes.
• Report project design status to clients with clear updates.
• Support BIM implementation and handover meetings through all stages.
