Kier Group in London is seeking an Electrical Design Manager to join the KME team on a major Life Sciences project. The role focuses on managing electrical design, leading safety reviews, and BIM implementation for complex schemes.

You will coordinate internal and external design teams, ensure budgets and programmes are met, and build strong client relationships while upholding Kier's values. The position is based in London with Harlow for delivery and offers flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an MEP design manager working for a main or Tier 1 MEP contractor.
• Demonstrable experience in delivering multiple medium schemes or large complex schemes.
• Strong technical understanding of MEPH services and their associated interfaces.
• Proven experience of managing and leading teams to achieve multiple objectives.
• You're a proactive problem solver with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Managing the design and working drawing activities to budget and programme, ensuring deliverables meet project requirements
• Leading design safety reviews and ensuring CDM requirements are incorporated into the design
• Managing internal and external design teams, establishing clear scopes and responsibilities
• Implementing BIM on projects and ensuring the project BIM Execution Plan is delivered
• Building effective relationships with clients and representing KME in a proactive and ethical manner
