BSV Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Liverpool team. The role focuses on designing, developing and delivering electrical engineering solutions across projects, with emphasis on compliance with UK standards and multidisciplinary collaboration.

You will prepare drawings, perform load calculations and ensure documentation meets requirements, while supporting testing and commissioning activities and driving design efficiency.

Qualificações

• Experience in an Electrical Engineer or similar engineering role.
• A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles, calculations and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of applicable UK electrical standards and regulations.
• Ability to interpret and produce electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing project deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver electrical engineering designs, calculations and technical specifications.
• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, layouts and associated technical documentation.
• Undertake electrical load calculations, cable sizing, circuit design and equipment selection.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant British Standards, applicable regulations and project requirements.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, building services, structural and other engineering disciplines.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and design submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support project delivery, installation, inspection, testing and commissioning activities as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve design efficiency, system performance, energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Assist with risk assessments, technical reports and project documentation.
• Maintain high standards of quality, health and safety, and engineering best practice.
