Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking an experienced Electrical Design & Construction Officer to lead the electrical design elements of a variety of construction projects in Carmarthen. The role requires a solid background in electrical engineering and the ability to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

The post is permanent full time, with hours of 37 per week. Welsh language ability at conversational level is mentioned, with support to improve the level.

Qualifications

  • Experience in design and delivery of electrical aspects of construction-related property projects.
  • Qualified in an electrical engineering discipline.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and reporting skills.

This permanent post offers an exciting opportunity to join our Property Design Section.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual who can ably demonstrate their ability and skills with the design and delivery of electrical aspects of a wide range of construction related property projects.

The appointed individual will need to be appropriately qualified in an electrical engineering discipline. In addition, the postholder will require good interpersonal, communication and reporting skills and have a broad knowledge of the construction industry’s processes and standards.
