Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking an experienced Electrical Design & Construction Officer to lead the electrical design elements of a variety of construction projects in Carmarthen. The role requires a solid background in electrical engineering and the ability to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

The post is permanent full time, with hours of 37 per week. Welsh language ability at conversational level is mentioned, with support to improve the level.

Qualifications

• Experience in design and delivery of electrical aspects of construction-related property projects.
• Qualified in an electrical engineering discipline.
• Good interpersonal, communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver electrical design aspects for a wide range of construction projects.
• Collaborate within the Property Design Section to meet project milestones.
• Provide technical reporting and liaison with stakeholders.
