Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited in Plymouth is seeking a Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical projects across commercial, healthcare, education and industrial sectors. You will oversee contracts from pre-construction to completion, manage budgets and programmes, lead site teams and ensure safety and client satisfaction.

This permanent role offers £60,000–£65,000 DOE with a company vehicle/allowance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing commercial and industrial mechanical projects.
• Strong contract and commercial management experience.
• Experience delivering technically complex projects.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• Relevant mechanical qualifications.
• SMSTS and relevant site/project management qualifications would be advantageous.

Build Recruitment are working with an established contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Mechanical Contracts Manager to join their team in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level mechanical professional with a strong commercial and industrial background, looking to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of projects across universities, healthcare, commercial and industrial environments.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the successful management and delivery of mechanical projects, overseeing contracts from pre-construction through to completion.

Key responsibilities:
