Job summary

King & Moffatt Building Services seeks an Electrical Authorised Person to safely plan, authorise, and control electrical work on LV systems across live projects. You will administer Safe Systems of Work, issue Permits to Work, and ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Rules within diverse sectors.

The role requires holding NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or higher qualifications, with HNC/HND or degree preferred, and experience in data centre or mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising electrical safety on LV distribution systems.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical schematics and switching procedures.
• Experience using Permit to Work and Safe Systems of Work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, authorise, and control electrical work and testing on LV systems.
• Issue and manage Permits to Work and sanctions to test.
• Review safety programmes and ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Rules.
