Job summary

King and Moffatt Building Services is seeking a senior electrical safety leader to oversee the Safe System of Work, manage LV authorisers, and supervise electrical switching activities on site. The role requires close collaboration with the Authorising Engineer, project delivery teams and client stakeholders.

You will lead the safety culture, standardise procedures, and ensure compliance with Electricity at Work regulations, BS7671 and company policies.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualifications and current AP capability.
• Strong knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations and BS7671.
• Experience reading single-line diagrams and switching schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and coordinate Authorised Persons (LV) across the project.
• Oversee Permits to Work, Sanctions to Test, Standing Instructions and Authorities for Access.
• Authorise electrical work, testing, switching and energisation activities.
• Manage isolation, dead proving, lock-off and earthing processes.
• Conduct audits and investigations into incidents and non-conformances.
