Job summary

King & Moffatt Building Services seeks a senior Electrical Safety Lead to oversee LV electrical safety on site. You will manage Authorised Persons, control permits to work, and ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Rules and BS 7671.

The role requires strong leadership and a track record in critical infrastructure environments. You will collaborat e with engineers, project delivery teams and client stakeholders to promote a culture of safety, training and continuous improvement on major

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification and AP status (LV).
• Experience with LV distribution in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of Electricity at Work Regulations and BS 7671.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams and switching schedules.
• Proven leadership of electrical teams and safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and coordinate Authorised Persons (LV) across the project.
• Oversee Permits to Work, Sanctions to Test, and Authority for Access.
• Coordinate isolation, switching, energisation and safe energisation activities.
• Conduct audits and investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and mentor APs, AP Designates and Skilled Persons.
