Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Worksop is seeking a hands-on assembler for electrical switch gear, focusing on quality, productivity and adherence to 5S+. You will assemble, inspect, pack, test and audit components to manufacturing requirements.

Candidates should follow safety policies (HASAWA) and participate in training, with initiative and flexibility to keep the department running smoothly and meet delivery dates.

Qualifications

• Align to the specific Skill Band criteria for role.
• Demonstrate awareness of orders and dates to meet delivery times and customer requirements.
• Observe and adopt safe working practices in accordance with Company health and safety policy and all relevant health and safety legislation; i.e. HASAWA 1974 etc

Responsibilities

• Assemble, Inspect, Pack, Test and Audit electrical switch gear to manufacturing requirements.
• Undertake product auditing throughout general assembly.
• Demonstrate initiative and flexibility to ensure smooth and efficient running of department.
• Communicate problems affecting role or responsibilities to Supervisors/Team Leader.
• Ensure workarea is to clean & tidy at all times adhere to 5s+ standards.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed.
• Undertake training necessary for development as agreed with Supervisors/Team Leader.
