Job summary

Eaton Nottingham is seeking an experienced assembly manufacturing leader to drive production schedule adherence, quality, cost, and safety while deploying the Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS). You will work with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and other teams to meet customer requirements and financial targets.

• Experience leading a manufacturing assembly team to meet schedules and quality.
• Ability to drive cost, quality, delivery, productivity and safety targets.
• Proven capability to deploy ECIS and Lean tools across operations.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and development of employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing teams through front-line supervisors to ensure customer requirements are achieved while meeting Quality, On-Time Delivery (OTD), and Stock Fill Rate (SFR) objectives.
• Monitor operational performance and KPIs, taking corrective actions to achieve targets for cost, quality, delivery, productivity and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement within the Assembly department through deployment of Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) tools, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Material Flow, Problem Solving methodologies, and 3P initiatives.
• Ensure all manufacturing documentation, system transactions, and reporting requirements are completed accurately to support customer, operational, and financial objectives.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing system requirements to ensure consistent product quality.
• Demonstrate leadership and commitment to the deployment and sustainment of the Eaton Business System.
• Collaborate with functional leaders and the site leadership team to support departmental objectives and overall business strategy.
• Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements are effectively implemented in accordance with local regulations, Eaton policies, and corporate standards.
• Manage team performance through coaching, development, talent reviews, succession planning, recognition, and appropriate corrective actions.
• Support strategic initiatives, annual operating plans, budget preparation, and capital investment projects through successful implementation and delivery.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional manufacturing initiatives to drive operational excellence, standardization, and best-practice sharing across the plant.
