Job summary

CMbE (CarnaudMetalbox Engineering) in Leeds is seeking Electrical Assembly Engineers for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will produce, fit and test OEM quality on large equipment, handling electrical wiring and assemblies to meet safety and technical standards.

The role requires at least 2 years in electrical assembly, a Level 3 electrical apprenticeship, and the ability to work autonomously while prioritising tasks and solving issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Electrical Assembly and testing of OEM machinery.
• Minimum Level 3 apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritise workload and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Produce, fit and test OEM quality on machines.
• Carry out electrical wiring and assemblies ensuring safety, conformity to standards.
• Report hazards and maintain 6S in the workspace; perform scheduled clean-stops and flag tooling or machine faults.
