Job summary

Melbreck Technical Recruitment in Lancaster is seeking an Electronics Assembly Engineer to join a growing team. You will assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies for specialist equipment with a global market.

Core hours are 9-3 with flexibility outside those times. Full-time, 40 hours per week, salary £30,000 to £40,000 plus pension and benefits as the company reinvests in staff and equipment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience as an assembly technician or bench technician within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Electrical and electronic assembly experience.
• Soldering and crimping experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies.
• Test PCBs to detailed specifications.
• Wire, assemble and test complete equipment and assemblies.
• Fault-find and repair company equipment as well as third-party equipment and circuit boards.
• Develop and improve testing procedures and documentation.

Electronics Assembly Engineer – Lancaster, Lancashire - £30,000 to £40,000 plus pension and benefits

Melbreck Technical are working with a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist equipment based in Lancaster.

Electronics Assembly Engineer – Role Overview:

• Assembly of electronic components and sub-assemblies.
• Testing printed circuit boards to detailed test specifications.
• Wiring, assembling and testing complete equipment and assemblies.
• Fault-finding and repairing company equipment as well as third-party equipment and circuit boards.
• Develop and improve testing procedures and documentation.

Electronics Assembly Engineer – Candidate Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience as an assembly technician or bench technician within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
