Job summary

CMbE CarnaudMetalbox Engineering is seeking Electrical Assembly Engineers for our Wortley, Leeds site on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The roles involve producing, fitting and testing OEM quality on machines, with responsibility for electrical wiring and assemblies to ensure safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical assembly and testing of OEM machinery, with a Level 3 electrical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within Electrical Assembly and testing of OEM machinery.
• Knowledge of electrical safety systems of work and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce, fit and test OEM quality on machines.
• Work on electrical wiring and associated assemblies to ensure safety and compliance.
• Report hazards and keep the work area clean per 6's standards.
• Elevate issues related to tooling, drawings, routings, or machine faults.
