Job summary

RNN Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Apprenticeship Skills Tutor to inspire and support learners at North Notts Campus, Worksop. The role is full-time and permanent, with offsite working and subsidised travel expenses.

You will mentor apprentices through their electrical standards, assess progress, and coach them from start to full qualification within a collaborative team. A teaching qualification and industry awards are preferred.

Qualifications

• Confident assessor/tutor who can engage with a wide variety of learners.
• Hold a relevant industry NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or higher.
• Hold A1/V1/CAVA Assessors Award (or equivalent).
• Excellent IT skills.
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• IQA Award is desirable.
• Level 2 English and Maths (or willingness to undertake).

Responsibilities

• Inspire and guide enthusiastic learners starting their careers.
• Coach apprentices from their first day to full qualification.
• Collaborative culture: work within a supportive, forward-thinking team.
• Coach & Mentor: guide apprentices through their Electrical Standards.
• Assess Progress: conduct on-site performance reviews and workplace assessments.
• Manage Caseloads: build strong relationships with learners and employers.
• Track Success: use digital e-portfolios to monitor and record student growth.
