Job summary

RNN Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Apprenticeship Skills Tutor to inspire and support learners at North Notts Campus, Worksop. The role is full-time and permanent, with offsite working and subsidised travel expenses.

You will mentor apprentices through their electrical standards, assess progress, and coach them from start to full qualification within a collaborative team. A teaching qualification and industry awards are preferred.

Qualifications

• Confident assessor/tutor who can engage with a wide variety of learners.
• Hold a relevant industry NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or higher.
• Hold A1/V1/CAVA Assessors Award (or equivalent).
• Excellent IT skills.
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• IQA Award is desirable.
• Level 2 English and Maths (or willingness to undertake).

Salary: £33,487 (unqualified) or £38,487 including Market Force Supplement (qualified) per annum + benefits

• an A1/V1/CAVA Assessors Award (or equivalent)
• excellent IT skills
• teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
• IQA Award is desirable
• Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths (or be willing to undertake).

Your role in the department

As part of the department of Work based Learning you will report directly to the Curriculum Team Leader/Curriculum Manager. You will play an active role in the curriculum team, working with key stakeholders such as Curriculum Team Leaders, Curriculum Manager, and Curriculum Lecturers etc.

You will also build good working relationships with other key stakeholders in apprenticeship programmes such as the Functional Skills Team.
