Job summary

RNN Group is recruiting an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor Electrical at North Notts Campus, Worksop. This role may involve offsite working with subsidised travel and focuses on guiding electrical apprentices from their start to full qualification.

You will need an NVQ Level 3 (or higher) or equivalent, an A1/V1/CAVA Assessors Award (or equivalent), excellent IT skills, and a teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain). English and Maths Level 2 are required or are to be undertaken.

Qualifications

• You will need to be a confident assessor/tutor who can engage with a wide variety of learners and bring the subject matter to life in a creative and engaging way.
• NVQ Level 3 (or higher) or equivalent; A1/V1/CAVA Assessors Award (or equivalent).
• Excellent IT skills; teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain); Level 2 English and Maths (or willingness to undertake).

Responsibilities

• Inspire and guide enthusiastic learners starting their careers.
• Coach apprentices from their first day to full qualification.
• Work within a supportive, forward-thinking team.
• Coach & Mentor apprentices through Electrical Standards.
• Assess progress via on-site reviews and workplace assessments.
• Manage caseloads and build relationships with learners and employers.
• Track student growth using digital e-portfolios.
