Perfect Placement is recruiting an Electric Vehicle Technician for a leading automotive workshop in North West London. The role focuses on servicing and repairing electric and hybrid vehicles within a modern, forward-thinking environment.

We offer a basic salary of £40,000 with OTE up to £55,000, plus overtime, and weekday hours from 8am to 5pm. This is an excellent opportunity to develop EV expertise in a state-of-the-art facility and advance your career.

Qualifications

• Proven automotive technician experience with EVs is required.
• Must hold an EV certification.
• Experience working with EV light commercial vehicles (LCVs) is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, team player with good work ethic.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled Electric Vehicle Technician to join a reputable automotive workshop located in North West London. Benefits of the Electric Vehicle Technician:

• Basic salary of £40,000 per annum
• OTE up to £55,000 annually (uncapped earnings)
• Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm working hours
• One in three Saturday mornings (8.30am - 12.30pm), paid at time and a half

Duties of the Electric Vehicle Technician:

• Servicing and repairing electric vehicles with a focus on hybrid and electric systems
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults within EVs
• Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed to high industry standards
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed
• Supporting the smooth running of the workshop and delivering excellent customer service

Requirements of the Electric Vehicle Technician:

• Proven experience as an automotive technician, ideally with electric and hybrid vehicle expertise
• Fully EV qualified certification
• Ability to work on electric LCVs is highly advantageous
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
